The boat show season is upon us. There are a dozen boating events in Florida alone, but Fort Lauderdale has something different, something special to offer. The biggest and most exciting yacht show is back in the yachting capital of the world.
Yes, we are talking about the 63rd Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS), which will take place across seven different locations, including the Broward County Convention Center, Bahia Mar Yachting Center, and Las Olas Marina from October 26th to October 30th, 2022. Here is a quick overview of one of the world’s finest and largest in-water boat shows happening this October.
About The Producers
This monumental boat show is owned by the Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF) and is produced by Informa Markets. The latter helps create a foundation for industry specialists to innovate, trade, and grow by means of face-to-face exhibitions, unleashing opportunities and allowing those prospects to bloom throughout the year. On the other hand, MIASF is a not-for-profit trade organization dedicating its efforts toward all-encompassing growth in the marine sector.
About The Boat Show
This five-day event, like the previous years, is going to be exhilarating.
Every year, FLIBS features a vast variety of industry-latest boats and yachts, along with a diverse selection of marine products, accessories, and whatnot. The entire dock is temporarily constructed as the boats arrive.
This year, there are going to be over 1,300 boats on display and a thousand brands exhibiting what they got. Every exhibitor leverages the opportunity to show the latest and greatest in the marine design and tech space. FLIBS welcomes boating and yachting enthusiasts to South Florida every year. The event is also aimed at welcoming business event industries.
This year, the boat show is likely to draw over 100,000 attendees from all over the world. In addition, it is estimated at a staggering $1.79 billion in economic impact. It is TRULY INTERNATIONAL, simply MASSIVE, and as a FLIBS spokesperson once quoted, “the Super Bowl of boat shows.”
